Jeffrey Sheng

Jeffrey Sheng has worked in the IT industry since 1996. Jeffrey began their career as a Team Lead at Baosteel Group Co. in 1996. In 2003, they became a Technical Project Manager at Wizlearn Technologies, where they managed project deliveries and provided professional service and support to customers by leading a team of 6-7 members. Jeffrey then joined HP as a Solutions Consultant in 2005. In 2008, Jeffrey co-founded dStrength Pte Ltd and acted as the Technology & Delivery Director, focusing on customer engagement and consultancy service, solution implementation and project deliveries. From 2011-2017, Jeffrey worked at NTUC Income as the Competency Centre Manager, where they oversaw the competency centre to provide technical leadership, direction and guidance to the team, developed and maintained application development processes and standards, and implemented and supported various systems. Since 2017, Jeffrey has been the Head of IT, Asia Pacific at Sompo Holdings (Asia).

Jeffrey Sheng obtained their Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University between 1992 and 1996. Jeffrey then went on to earn a Master of Engineering in ECE from the National University of Singapore between 2001 and 2003. In 2004, they received a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) from Microsoft. The following year, in 2005, they obtained a Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) from Microsoft. In 2010, they received a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. In 2011, Jeffrey obtained an Achieving Superior Service certification from Ron Kaufman. In 2014, they received a Lean Practitioner Workshop certification from Pivotal Resources, a Value Stream Mapping certification from Pivotal Resources, and an Empowerment of The Black Belt Team certification from Dynamic Team Holdings Sdn Bhd. In 2017, Jeffrey obtained a Leading High Performance Teams certification from Gallup and a TOGAF 9 Certified certification from The Open Group. In 2022, they obtained a Boss to Coach certification from Gallup and a Data-Informed Decision Making in Projects certification from the International Institute for Learning.
