Alex Beganie

Alex Beganie is a seasoned insurance professional currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Head of E&S Primary Casualty at Sompo International since February 2023. With extensive experience in excess casualty, Alex has held significant leadership roles at Allied World since July 2014, including Senior Vice President overseeing E&S Excess Casualty. Prior roles also include senior underwriting positions at Argo Group US and Artex Risk Solutions in Bermuda, as well as underwriting and brokering at Professional Governmental Underwriters. Alex's educational background includes several professional designations from AICPCU and IRMI, along with a BS in Business Management from Virginia Commonwealth University.
