Chris Osei Acii

Chris Osei MBA ACII has over a decade of experience in the insurance industry, with a strong focus on finance and business change. Chris is currently serving as the Head of London Market & Europe Underwriting Operations at Sompo International. Prior to this role, Chris worked as the Interim Head of Finance Change & Data Systems at the same company.

Before joining Sompo International, Chris founded and led C73 Business Services Limited, a boutique business consultancy providing general management, business development, and project management services in the general insurance space. Chris also worked as a Business Change Consultant for the UK Risk Engineering Transformation Programme at Zurich Insurance plc.

Chris has also held positions as a Consultant at Lightcliffe Consulting, where they provided advisory services to small businesses and the third sector, and as a Project Manager at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd, Canopius Group, Tokio Marine HCC, Hiscox, and Chaucer Syndicates. In these roles, they were responsible for managing various projects, including finance transformation, target operating model implementation, and Brexit solutions.

Early in their career, Chris served as the Head of Management Information & Statistics at Randall & Quilter Investment Holdings Ltd., where they led a team and oversaw syndicate reporting, project management, and Solvency II implementation.

Overall, Chris Osei has a wealth of experience in insurance operations, finance, business change, and project management. Chris has demonstrated a strong ability to drive major change initiatives, manage complex projects, and provide strategic guidance to support business growth and optimization.

Chris Osei MBA ACII completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Henley Business School - University of Reading from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a BSc (Hons) in Insurance & Investment Studies from Cass Business School. In addition to their degrees, Chris also holds certifications including Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance, Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci, Project Management Professional (PMP)® from Project Management Institute, Chartered Insurance Practitioner from Chartered Insurance Institute, and Prince2 Foundation and Practitioner from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
