Fred Weber

Fred Weber currently serves as SVP, Head of Pricing & Analytics for APAC Commercial at Sompo since November 2022, where responsibilities include cat modelling and local portfolio reviews aligned with management priorities. Previously, as VP at Sompo, Fred led the development of customised pricing tools and established a monitoring framework for portfolio management. Prior experience at AXA from April 2004 to October 2022 includes roles as Chief Actuary and Director, managing teams of actuaries and spearheading significant profitability turnarounds and innovative product launches, as well as leading IFRS17 implementation efforts. Fred holds a Master’s degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Strasbourg.
