Isla Baillie

Isla Baillie has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent position is the EVP Global Head of Talent & Inclusion at Sompo International, which they started in July 2021. Prior to this role, they held the position of SVP, International Human Resources at Sompo International from August 2019 to November 2021. Isla also previously served as the SVP International Human Resources at Sompo International from November 2014 to November 2021.

Before joining Sompo International, Isla worked at Axis Capital as the European HR Director from August 2008 to August 2014. Isla also served as a Management Consultant at Expertise from August 2006 to August 2008. Prior to that, they gained experience as an HR Manager at Ernst & Young from April 2004 to August 2006, and as an HR Advisor at Scottish Life from April 2001 to April 2004.

Isla Baillie earned a BSc Hons in Psychology from the University of St Andrews from 1996 to 2000. Isla then pursued a PgDip in Human Resources from Edinburgh Napier University from 2001 to 2003.
