Kyle Barrett

Kyle Barrett is an experienced insurance professional currently serving as the Assistant Vice President and Team Lead for E&S Primary Casualty at Sompo since October 2022. In this role, Kyle manages a New York City-based underwriting team focused on profitable growth through collaboration with wholesale broker partners across the U.S. Prior to Sompo, Kyle held roles at Liberty Mutual Insurance, including Senior Territory Manager and Business Development Manager, where responsibilities involved overseeing commercial relationships to enhance profitability. Kyle also has a background in underwriting with positions at CNA Insurance, Liberty Mutual, Selective Insurance, and Marsh, beginning a career in the insurance industry with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lycoming College.
