Lauren Zimmer

Lauren Zimmer is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Senior Claim Counsel for Cyber, Media and Technology at Sompo International since January 2024. Prior to this role, Lauren worked at Travelers from June 2012 to December 2023 as Cyber Claim Counsel in Bond & Specialty Insurance, where responsibilities included the analysis and resolution of complex cyber claims, as well as evaluating coverage under various policies. Earlier experience includes serving as Counsel for Workers' Compensation at Travelers and as an Associate Attorney at Inman & Fitzgibbons, Ltd., where Lauren defended cases before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission. Lauren holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
