Simon Weston, FCA, is a seasoned credit risk professional with extensive experience across various financial sectors. Currently serving as Senior Credit Analyst and Head of Credit Risk Analytics at Sompo International since September 2019, Simon leads the financial and political risk team and holds key positions on the financial and credit risk subcommittee and the credit risk review board. Previously at MUFG from December 2011 to July 2019, Simon advanced through roles including Deputy Head and Director, overseeing credit analysis for transport and infrastructure sectors. At the Royal Bank of Scotland from December 2003 to September 2011, Simon managed teams analyzing credit risks in chemicals and large corporate transactions. Simon began his career at Deloitte & Touche, where responsibilities included managing audit teams in the TMT sector. Simon holds an ACA qualification from ICAEW and a degree in International Management and Modern Languages from the University of Bath.
