Sondra Lavoie

Sondra Lavoie, CSP, ASP, CHST, currently serves as AVP and Risk Control Specialist at Sompo since April 2024. Prior to this role, Sondra worked as a Sr. Loss Control Specialist at Moreton & Company from April 2022 to April 2024, and held positions at PayneWest Insurance as a Loss Control Specialist and Risk Management Specialist between April 2017 and September 2021. Sondra's earlier experience includes serving as Safety Director at Treasure Valley Family YMCA from July 2015 to March 2017, Construction Safety Consultant at First Link Safety from March 2013 to July 2015, and Safety and Health/Administrative Assistant/LEED A.P. at RSCI from August 2006 to December 2011. Sondra also worked as a Project Engineer at ISEC, Inc. from April 2002 to August 2006 and in Front Office roles at Control Air Conditioning Corp. from March 1995 to May 1999. Sondra holds a Bachelor's Degree in Safety and Health and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University.
