Vlad Tsekanovskiy

Vlad Tsekanovskiy has extensive work experience in the field of data management and analytics. Vlad is currently working as the Head of Business Data Management & Quality at Sompo International since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Data Analytics Consulting at EPAM Systems from August 2021 to January 2022.

Before joining EPAM Systems, Vlad held prominent positions at various organizations. Vlad served as the Global Head of Data Ecosystem and Transparency at AXA XL, a division of AXA, from July 2019 to August 2021. In this role, they oversaw strategic data product development, daily operations, and data management solution design. Vlad also led user acceptance testing, quality engineering, and production support, and managed data transparency initiatives. Additionally, Vlad was the Head of Business Intelligence at AXA XL from April 2017 to July 2019, where they managed the development and launch of a BI platform and established an Enterprise Data Quality team.

Prior to their tenure at AXA XL, Vlad worked at AIG as the Director and Head of Application Development and BI/Reporting from March 2007 to January 2017. In this cross-functional role, they oversaw CIO support, front office investment accounting and operations, and insurance/actuarial/regulatory areas. Vlad excelled as a leader in business intelligence and reporting, collaborating with global offices and leaders to develop data-driven dashboards and improve data visualization.

Earlier in their career, Vlad held positions at Bessemer Trust, UBS | Painewebber, and Viacom, where they gained valuable experience in online services and reporting, technology, and application development, respectively.

Vlad Tsekanovskiy holds a Master of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Donetsk National University.
