Ziaul Siddiqui

Ziaul Siddiqui is the Chairman of the Board at Sonali Bank Limited since August 2019, focusing on governance and policy formulation for the institution. Prior to this role, Ziaul served as Chief Executive Officer of the IGW Operators Forum from 2014 to August 2019, where strategic and operational direction was provided. Between 2012 and 2013, Ziaul acted as an Advisor at Prime Bank Ltd., offering guidance on financial sourcing, strategic planning, and compliance issues. Ziaul's extensive experience at Bangladesh Bank from 1976 to 2011 included roles as Deputy Governor, Executive Director, General Manager, and Deputy General Manager, contributing to monetary policy formulation, international reserve management, and foreign exchange policy. Ziaul Siddiqui holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Harvard University.
