Hendrik Buchwald

Hendrik Buchwald is an experienced AppSec Researcher at SonarSource since April 2020, having previously served as CISO at RIPS Technologies from March 2016 to April 2020. Prior to this, Hendrik was involved in academia at the Chair for Systems Security as a Software Developer from August 2015 to February 2016. Hendrik began a career in software development at Ventech Systems GmbH, where work occurred from August 2008 to February 2013 in dual roles as Software Developer (WHK) and Software Developer (SHK). Hendrik holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Applied Computer Science from Ruhr University Bochum, completed in 2014, with earlier studies at the same institution from 2009 to 2011.
