Sonder Collective
Funmilayo Obasa is a skilled design researcher with extensive experience in user experience and interaction design. Currently serving as a Design Researcher at Sonder Collective, Funmilayo has played a key role in developing reports that enhance stakeholder engagement on health projects in collaboration with global teams. Previous positions include UI Designer at Zarttech, Design Researcher at Afrika Designers, and User Researcher at DemocracyLab, where investigative research led to actionable insights for stakeholders. Funmilayo has also contributed as a UX Researcher at various organizations, effectively managing research and design activities to improve healthcare applications and user experiences. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in History and International Studies from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, as well as ongoing Master of Science degrees in Interaction Design from Cyprus University of Technology and Tallinn University.
