Karen Vandergaag

Karen Vandergaag is a skilled digital product leader with extensive experience in product management and development across various sectors. Currently serving as Digital Product Lead at Sonder Collective since January 2024, Karen previously held the position of Product Manager at Wasoko, where responsibilities included leading a technology stack launch for the Kenya and Zambia markets and managing product roadmaps. At CARE, Karen significantly increased product adoption while overseeing a team through the end-to-end development cycle. Early career experiences included an International Microfinance and Microenterprise Fellowship with the Aga Khan Foundation Canada and research roles focusing on non-profit sustainability. Karen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours in Finance from Okanagan College.
