Jackson Naftel

Jackson Naftel is a co-founder of Sonder Energy, LLC, with experience in the energy sector since May 2020. Previously, Jackson served as a course instructor at Duke University from January 2021 to May 2023, teaching a graduate-level course on solar project development. Prior roles include director of development at Strata Solar, LLC from June 2014 to April 2020, and manager at The North Highland Company from June 2012 to June 2014, where the focus was on providing innovative consultancy services. Jackson's career also includes working as a development associate at Phillips Development and Realty (January 2005 - September 2008) and as an environmental scientist at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (August 2003 - December 2004). Jackson holds an MBA and a Master of Environmental Management from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and Duke University Nicholas School of the Environment, respectively, and a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder.
