The role

At the heart of our operation is our Response Network of Sonder Responders . You'll be deployed to provide in person support to our members to support their wellbeing and mental health.  

We are seeking experienced mental health, emergency services and wellbeing professionals who are looking for casual employment. 

What you'll be doing

  • Nurture partnership relations, engagement and training
  • Conduct stakeholder engagement to support Sonder’s business and operational outputs as directed
  • Provide input to operational procedures and network management
  • Conduct emergency and non-emergency support responses as required 
  • Assist at customer events to support the understanding and use of Sonder

Your experience in decision making, response, empathy, and a drive to help others will be essential to success and satisfaction in this role.

Who are we looking for?

We’re seeking experienced individuals from the mental health sector and emergency services who are passionate about providing assistance to people in need. We are looking for someone who is confident in their ability to assess a critical situation and determine, or recommend, the next steps. Empathy is essential.

The ideal candidate is passionate, self-motivated, and takes pride in producing high-quality work every day. Above all else, you - the ideal candidate - will embody the Sonder values and love working in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace.

To be successful in this role, you should have;

  • Recent or current experience in the UK within emergency services, mental health or wellbeing sector
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a critical incident or potentially traumatic event
  • Experience in working with CALD [Culturally and Linguistically Diverse] groups and vulnerable persons
