Nathan Halliday has an extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Nathan is currently the VP Member Support at Sonder since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as Stakeholder and Membership Engagement (Contract) at Blockchain Australia from October 2022 to December 2022.

In 2021, Nathan was the Country Manager & Director - Australia at Zipmex. Nathan played a crucial role in designing the go-to-market strategy for entering the Australian market, including analyzing product market fit, competitive landscape, and conducting customer research. Nathan also built and managed the Australian team as the first employee.

From July 2020 to March 2021, Nathan worked as a Strategy, Operations, and Finance Consultant at Sola.io. Nathan assisted the CEO and founder in navigating the challenges posed by COVID and participated in developing and executing the Strategic Roadmap for Sola.io. Nathan provided oversight in finance, operations, HR, and IT services.

Before that, Nathan held various positions at Splend, starting as the Claims Team Leader from February 2007 to July 2008. Nathan then progressed to become the Claims Manager from July 2008 to November 2012, with responsibilities including staff management, budget oversight, and process improvement. Nathan later served as the Claims Operations Manager from November 2012 to January 2014, overseeing claims handling services and building stakeholder relationships. From January 2014 to January 2016, Nathan was the Operations Manager, responsible for managing insurance processes, operations budgets, and customer service centers across multiple countries.

Prior to Splend, Nathan gained experience at Cover-More Group, where they held roles such as Claims Team Leader, Claims Manager, and Operations Manager. In these positions, they managed claims leadership, annual operations budgeting, and claims expenditure.

Overall, Nathan has demonstrated expertise in leadership, strategy, operations, and finance across various industries, including insurance, blockchain, and technology.

Nathan Halliday began their education in 2009 at Impact Training Institution, where they attained a Diploma in Management. In 2013, they enrolled at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) and obtained a Postgraduate Diploma of Management, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Continuing their studies at MGSM, Nathan pursued a Masters of Management degree from 2013 to 2014. Finally, in 2014-2015, they completed a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at MGSM.
