Mariel Desjardins

Mariel Desjardins is an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter at Sonder Inc. since March 2022, with a background in technical recruiting that includes a significant role at Lyft as the first and only recruiter in the Canadian market. Prior to Lyft, Mariel held various talent acquisition roles at Starbucks, Goodfood Market, and District 3, where responsibilities ranged from managing the full recruitment cycle to consulting startups on talent acquisition strategies. Additional experience includes technical recruiting at Aerotek and earlier roles in customer service and research assistance. Mariel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Relations from Concordia University and a DEC in Communication and Media Studies from Dawson College.
