Michael Ballinger

Michael Ballinger is a seasoned professional in data science and revenue analytics, currently serving as Senior Director at Sonder Inc. since November 2020, after holding positions as Director and Senior Manager within the same domain. Prior to Sonder Inc., Michael worked at Marriott International from November 2014 to November 2020 as Director of Operations Research, Senior Operations Research Scientist, and Operations Research Scientist. Earlier experience includes a role as Patent Examiner at the USPTO from February 2008 to July 2014 and as a Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University's Computational Engineering and Robotics Lab from June 2004 to May 2007. Michael holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in the same field, both from Carnegie Mellon University.
