Justin Hoffman, LCSW, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Justin is currently an Adjunct Instructor at the Community College of Denver. Prior to this, they worked as a School Social Worker at Aurora Public Schools. Justin has also worked as a Mental Health Therapist at SonderMind.
In 2016, they participated in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET) as an Assistant Language Teacher. During this time, they organized cultural exchange events and taught English classes at local schools and preschools.
Before their time in Japan, Justin served as a Clinical Therapist at MEMORIAL REGIONAL HOSPITAL HOLLYWOOD FLORIDA and as a Student Intern - Victim Advocate at the State Attorney's Office, Florida's 17th Judicial Circuit. Justin also worked as an Assistant Language Teacher in South Korea through the EPIK (English Program in Korea) and at Komar University of Science and Technology.
Furthermore, Justin gained experience as a Group Facilitator at Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
Justin Hoffman, LCSW completed their education in a sequential manner. Justin earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Sociology from Florida State University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. During that time, they also obtained a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (150 Hours) certification from the same institution in June 2011.
Continuing their education, they pursued a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Florida Atlantic University between 2014 and 2016, focusing on the field of Social Work.
Furthermore, Justin obtained additional certifications throughout their career. In May 2017, they completed the Virtual Teacher Specialization program offered by Coursera. Additionally, they became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker through the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies in December 2021.
