Mike Hinchley

Mike Hinchley has extensive work experience in operations management. Mike started their career at Snap On Tools in 2003 as a Distribution Supervisor, where they oversaw daily operations and managed a team of 31 employees. After six years, they moved to Commonwealth Plywood in 2009 as an Operations Manager, responsible for warehouse and distribution center operations, managing staff, creating policies and procedures, and maintaining productivity, quality, inventory, and safety standards. In 2011, they joined Sonepar Canada as a Regional Operations Manager, where they developed and provided training to employees, supported internal business system software users, evaluated and improved processes across branches in Ontario. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Operations at Sonepar Canada.

Mike Hinchley attended Durham College from 2001 to 2003, where they pursued a degree in Business with a focus on Operations Management. In addition to their degree, Mike obtained certifications as a Six Sigma Green Belt from Six Sigma in 2015 and as an Effective Motivational Leader from LMI Canada Inc. in 2014.
