Savio Fernandes

Savio Fernandes has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Savio started their career at Tele-Direct Inc. as an Acting Assignment Centre Clerk before moving on to General Motors of Canada LTD. as a First Line Production Supervisor. At Co-Steel Lasco, they worked as a PLC Technician for a short period of time. Later, they joined Celestica as a Failure Analyst, where they excelled at troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing product defects. Savio'sextensive experience in the IT field includes roles such as Windows Sharepoint Services Administrator/Developer, Project Manager, Intranet, and Manager, IT Projects. Most recently, they have been working at Sonepar Canada in various roles, including Manager, IT Research & Special Projects and Director, IT Strategy & Special Projects. Throughout their career, Savio has demonstrated a passion for innovation, a pragmatic approach to influencing business, and a willingness to teach others.

Savio Fernandes attended Centennial College from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a degree in Electronics Technologist with a focus on Electronics. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at Neil McNeil Secondary High School from 1992 to 1997. In addition, they obtained a certification in Microsoft SQL Server 2019 Essential Training from LinkedIn in 2020.
