Salman Farrukh

Salman Farrukh is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in credit and corporate banking. Currently serving as the Unit Head of Credits at Soneri Bank Limited since March 2022, Salman is responsible for reviewing and recommending proposals within the Corporate and Investment Banking Group (CIBG) and the Corporate Retail Banking Group (CRBG). Previously, Salman held the position of Unit Head of Corporate & Commercial Assets at Askari Bank, where responsibilities included managing a sales team and developing multi-product relationships. Earlier roles include Relationship Manager at Bank Alfalah Limited, where customer credit needs were assessed, Team Manager at Dubai Islamic Bank, focusing on sales team management and strategy, and Relationship Officer at United Bank Limited, responsible for client relations. Salman holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Management and Technology, obtained between 2003 and 2005.
