Danny Wieland

Danny Wieland has over 18 years of experience in the finance and investor relations sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Investor Relations & Financial Reporting at Sonic Automotive since September 2007, Danny acts as the primary liaison for investor relations, leveraging a deep understanding of business and financial outcomes to communicate effectively with current and prospective investors and analysts. Responsibilities also include leading the financial reporting team, overseeing SEC compliance, and providing reporting analysis for senior management. Prior to joining Sonic Automotive, Danny held various roles, including Assurance Associate at Grant Thornton LLP. Danny earned a Master’s Degree in Accounting from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
