Karen Baker

Karen Baker is an experienced professional in loss control and claims management within the insurance and automotive industries. Currently serving as the Texas Regional Loss Control Manager for Sonic Automotive since October 2012, Karen has implemented comprehensive safety and loss control programs for over 30 dealerships. Prior experience includes leading a team of special investigators at Nationwide Insurance and managing operations as a General Manager and Franchise Owner at Cold Stone Creamery. Karen began a career at State Farm Insurance, implementing staff training programs and improving performance in claims handling. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from Tulane University and a BBA in Marketing and Finance from St. Edward's University.
