Martin Walsh has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Martin currently serves as the Vice President Facilities Development at Sonic Automotive since 2015. Previously, they held the position of Vice President, National Mission Critical at Balfour Beatty Construction from 2012 to 2015. In this role, they were responsible for the company's national mission critical business, including business acquisition, operations leadership, and account management. Prior to that, Martin worked as a Project Executive at Howard S Wright Constructors, LP from 2004 to 2010, where they managed all aspects of the business and achieved critical opening dates on takeover projects. Martin also started the BIM group in the Northern California Region. Martin's earlier experience includes the role of Senior Project Manager at Clark Pacific from 2002 to 2004, where they were responsible for design coordination, production, and installation of architectural precast facade systems. Martin achieved repeat business through preconstruction services and received multiple awards for precast quality from the Precast Concrete Institute.

Martin Walsh, LEED AP BD+C, Assoc. DBIA, completed a Basis Project Management Course at California State University-Sacramento in 1998. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Galway between 1992 and 1996, with their studies encompassing the fields of English, Engineering, and Medicine.
