Marx Subramanian has extensive work experience in the technology and infrastructure field. Marx is currently serving as the Vice President of Infrastructure & Operations at Sonic Automotive. Prior to this, they held the position of SVP and Head of Technology Operations at Truist, where they successfully managed the merger of BB&T and SunTrust banks from an infrastructure operations standpoint. Marx also worked at Lowe's Companies, Inc. as the Sr. Director of Technology Infrastructure Platforms, where they implemented a modern Software Defined Data Center and managed network, storage, backup, compute, and database platforms. Marx also served as the Manager of Digital Infrastructure & Operations at Lowe's, setting up and managing the global application support team. Before Lowe's, Marx worked at Chico's FAS, Inc. as an Enterprise Architect and Technical Lead for database services. Marx began their career at GE, where they were an Infrastructure Lead, supporting multiple GE businesses as a consultant Database Administrator. Marx Subramanian also worked as a Database Administrator at Rapidigm and started their career as a Visual Basic/T-SQL Developer at Alpha Systems Inc.

Marx Subramanian earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Additionally, they obtained certifications as a Six Sigma Green Belt from GE and as an MCP from Microsoft in July 2001.
