Suzanne Crowe Ao

Suzanne Crowe AO, FAICD, serves as Emeritus Professor of Medicine at Monash University since 2020 and as an Emeritus Senior Principal Research Fellow at the Burnet Institute since 1988, where roles have included NHMRC Principal Research Fellow, Associate Director, Co-Head of the Centre for Virology, and Head of the AIDS Pathogenesis Research Laboratory. Additional current directorships include Non-Executive Board Director positions at AVITA Medical, Sonic Healthcare, and St Vincent's Health Australia. From 1999 to 2019, Suzanne held the title of Professor of Infectious Diseases at Monash University and worked as a Specialist Physician in Infectious Diseases at Alfred Hospital from 1994 to 2019. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Monash University/Alfred Hospital Medical School, Medical Laboratory Technology from RMIT University, and ongoing participation in the Australian Institute of Company Directors from 2012.
