Leona Douglas is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in operations management across various organizations. Currently serving as Regional Vice President of Operations at Sonic Healthcare USA since February 2023, Leona also holds the position of Vice President of Operations for the Midwest Region at Aurora Diagnostics. Previously, Leona co-founded the Transformational Wellness Initiative, LLC and held multiple leadership roles at MEDNAX, including Regional Vice President and Director of Operations for the Atlantic Region, focusing on strategic oversight, financial management, and relationship cultivation. With a background that includes significant positions at AmeriPath and LabCorp, Leona has demonstrated expertise in managing operations across multiple states, driving growth, and overseeing major corporate projects. Educational qualifications include a B.S. in Medical Technology from Texas Tech University and dual MBA degrees focused on Business Administration and Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix.
