Shawn Kent

Shawn Kent currently serves as Corporate Vice President of Revenue Cycle Operations at Sonic Healthcare USA since March 2022, having previously held the same title at CommuniCare Health Services from June 2018 to February 2022. Prior to these positions, Shawn was Divisional Vice President of Revenue Cycle at Kindred Healthcare and acted as Interim Revenue Cycle Executive at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where a focus on a culture of accountability and metric-driven performance was achieved. With extensive experience, Shawn has also been Corporate Vice President of Revenue Cycle at Bon Secours/Mercy and contributed to the HFMA National Advisory Council as a member for three years. In addition, Shawn has worked in various revenue cycle roles including Executive Director at TriHealth and Director of Revenue Cycle at the Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati. Shawn holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Xavier University, attained between 1999 and 2004.
