Eric Buksa

Eric Buksa, PHR has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Eric started their career as a Human Resources Representative at Brayton Purcell, where they performed various HR functions and implemented full-cycle recruiting. Eric then worked at Future US, Inc as a Human Resources Generalist and later as a Human Resources Manager, where they implemented HR strategies and objectives, trained employees, and ensured compliance. Eric then joined AVRS, Inc. as a Human Resources Director, where they developed the HR function, revamped recruiting and onboarding processes, and established policies and procedures. In their role as the Director of Human Resources at Visicon Technologies, Inc, they were responsible for creating a scalable HR and talent acquisition function and ensuring compliance. Most recently, Eric worked as the Human Resources Manager at L-3 Integrated Systems Group, where they managed HR functions. Currently, Eric serves as the Director of Human Resources at Sonic, overseeing all people aspects within the organization.

Eric Buksa, PHR, has a strong educational background in business administration and human resources management. Eric completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Human Resources Management from Sonoma State University, where they studied from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they attended Santa Rosa Junior College from 1998 to 2000, earning an Associate of Arts degree in General Education.

Eric Buksa has also obtained several certifications to further enhance their expertise in the field. In 2008, they earned their Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from HRCI. In 2015, they obtained the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM. Additionally, in 2016, Eric completed the DDI-Certified Facilitator program offered by Development Dimensions International (DDI).
