Ben Russell has held a variety of roles in their career. In 2021, they were appointed Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Head of Commercial at SonicJobs, an award-winning mobile app. Prior to this, they were Head of Partnerships and Global Partnership Manager at Adzuna from 2017 to 2021, Social Enterprise BD Manager at Clarity - The Soap Co. from 2017 to 2021, Co-Founder at Larder Fair from 2015 to 2017, Global Finance Business Partner at Unilever from 2014 to 2015, Sales Manager - Americas and Sales Manager - Malaysia at Fibrelite Composites from 2011 to 2014, and Analyst at Vertem Asset Management from 2010 to 2011.

Ben Russell obtained a Master of Arts (MA) in Financial Management from Durham University Business School, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry from Durham University. In March 2021, they also obtained a Growth Marketing Programme certification from Startup Core Strengths.
