Francesco Masia

Francesco Masia has a wealth of experience in the tech industry. Francesco began their career in 1998 as a Software Engineer at Tiscali, where they worked on the VOLTrade financial portal, which later became the Tiscali Finance portal. In 2001, they joined Sinara Consultants Limited as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2003, they became an Independent IT Consultant at Bosalabs. In 2007, they joined Honda Research Institute Europe GmbH as Lead Software Engineer, where they worked on the Asimo Humanoid Robot Project. In 2009, they co-founded and became CEO of Calameda s.r.l., a startup that attracted the attention of Google, Pearson, and Samsung. In 2012, they became Head of the Innovation Programme at hibu (formerly Yell). In 2014, they joined Digital Catapult as a Senior Product Manager. In 2015, they became CTO of BuzzMyVideos. In 2016, they co-founded and became CEO of Qarras and Co-Founder and CTO of SONICJOBS.

Francesco Masia holds a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Torino.
