Waqas M. Rathore has a diverse work experience with expertise in technical consulting, data platform engineering, application QA, LTE 3G-4G research, wireless terminal certification, and telecommunications technology. Waqas M. has worked at Sonim Technologies as a Sr. Technical Consultant in Client Services Operations since 2017. Previously, they held roles at Rogers Communications as a Sr. Data Platform Engineer and an Application QA Team Lead for New Product Development from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they were a Research Assistant in LTE 3G-4G at UOB in 2011. Waqas M. also worked at Telus Mobility as a Wireless Terminal Certification/Development Engineer from 2008 to 2010 and at Rogers Communications as a Wireless Data Specialist/Engineer in 2007. Waqas M. started their career at Prestige Telecom as a Telecommunications Technologist/IT Support in 2007. Waqas M. Rathore holds an M.Sc. degree and certifications in PMP, PMI-ACP, and ITIL V3.

Waqas M. Rathore holds a diverse educational background in the field of telecommunications, network management, and project management. Waqas M. obtained their M.Sc. degree in Telecommunications and Network Management from UOB (United Kingdom) between 2010 and 2011. Prior to that, in 2005 to 2007, they studied at the Humber Institute of Technology in Toronto, Canada, specializing in Wireless and Telecommunications Technology.

In terms of certifications, Waqas obtained the ITIL V3 Foundation Certification from ITIL in 2013, focusing on information technology. Waqas M. also holds a Certificate in SUN Certified System Administrator for Solaris 9,10 OS, which they obtained from SUN Microsystems Inc. in 2009. Additionally, they have obtained the CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification from CISCO.

Waqas M. Rathore has further enhanced their professional qualifications by becoming a PMP Certified professional, earning the Project Management Professional "Registered PMP" credential from the Project Management Institute in August 2021.
