James M. Cotter

Mr. Cotter is a recognized mergers and acquisitions (M&A) expert and co-founded the investment management firm Breeden Capital Management. He also served as vice chairman and partner at Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett, an international law firm headquartered in New York where his practice primarily focused on mergers and acquisition advisory work. Mr. Cotter previously served as a director of Zale Corporation, a New York Stock Exchange listed company and as president of the New York Law Institute. His M&A and legal experience bring essential insights to our board and organization. He received his AB degree from Fairfield University and his law degree from the University of Virginia.
