James W. Biondi

James W. Biondi became Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ivy Biomedical Systems, Inc. in 2000, and has been a director since 1992. Dr. Biondi was Executive Chairman of Cardiopulmonary Corp., a medical device company he founded in 1988, from 2014 to 2016 and its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from 1989 to 2014. Dr. Biondi served as a Director of Zoll Medical Corporation from 1997 to 2012 and has served on the Advisory Board Sonitor RTLS technologies since 2015. Dr. Biondi holds a B.S. degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M.D. degree from Albany Medical College and received his postgraduate training in Anesthesiology, Cardiac Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, and Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine and Yale-New Haven Hospital. Dr. Biondi holds an Executive Masters Level Professional Directors Certification from the American College of Corporate Directors.
