Jamie Sutherland is the co-founder and CEO of Sonix, an AI-powered transcription service. Prior to Sonix, Jamie was an investor at Hubdoc, which was acquired by Xero. Jamie also served as an advisor at Procurify from September 2016 to May 2018. Prior to that, they were the EIR at Norwest Venture Partners from August 2016 to March 2017. Jamie also spent five years at Xero as the GM of US Products & Solutions from December 2011 to July 2016. Prior to Xero, they co-founded TaxiNow in May 2010, which was acquired by FastCab. Jamie also spent four years at Sage as the Vice President & General Manager from October 2007 to April 2011. Jamie began their career in 2000 as a Territory Manager at Suncor Energy and later held positions as a Senior Analyst at Investor Economics and a leadership rotational program at Scotiabank.

Jamie Sutherland has an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance & International Business from McGill University.
