Vidhu Unnikrishnan

Vidhu Unnikrishnan has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2014, Vidhu served as the Student Chairman for the Computer Society of India, Student Branch, ASIET. Following this, from 2015 to 2018, Vidhu worked as a Software Developer at UST, where they were involved in data collection and cleaning for text recognition models. They also spearheaded computer vision applications for Object Detection and Optical Character recognition using Python and various frameworks such as TensorFlow, Tesseract, and OpenCV. Additionally, Vidhu undertook front-end development using AngularJS and the Django Framework. After UST, Vidhu joined Woolworths Supermarkets in 2018 as a Team Member and worked until 2021. Currently, Vidhu is a Senior Software Engineer at Sonnant, starting from the year 2021.

Vidhu Unnikrishnan holds a Master's degree in Data Science from Monash University, which they obtained from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University, spanning from 2011 to 2015. Furthermore, they have obtained additional certifications including "Cloud Computing Basics (Cloud 101)" from Coursera in October 2020, and "Learning Amazon Web Services (AWS) for Developers (2018)" from LinkedIn, also obtained in October 2020.
