Gregorio Morales Schmid

Gregorio Morales Schmid currently serves as the Chief Commercial Officer at Sonnedix, a position held since February 2025. Previously, Gregorio was a Board Member at both OMI - Polo Español (OMIE) and OMIP - The Iberian Energy Derivatives Exchange from December 2022 to February 2025. At Naturgy, from August 2016 to February 2025, Gregorio held several executive roles including Executive Director of Power Markets & Energy Transition, overseeing a team managing the electricity portfolio in European markets, and Executive Director of Global LNG, responsible for a significant LNG portfolio and a large team. Additional roles at Naturgy included Global Head of LNG Origination and Business Development, and Global Head of LNG Trading & Marketing. Gregorio holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master in Energy from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, completed in January 2000.
