Joanna Thorpe

Joanna Thorpe has a diverse work experience spanning across various sectors. Joanna has worked as the Head of Talent Acquisition and Development and UK Representative Director at Sonnedix, an Independent Solar Power Producer. Prior to that, they served as the Global Lead for Marketing and Communications at Sonnedix. Joanna also worked as a Marketing and Communications Consultant at Eight Associates and Tamar Energy, and as a Marketing and Communications Consultant at the National Energy Foundation. Joanna has held the role of Marketing Director at Low Carbon Workplace, where they contributed to low carbon design advice and coordinated the Low Carbon Workplace Standard. Joanna has also served as the Marketing Director at Common Purpose, a leadership development organization. Additionally, Joanna worked as the Marketing and Communications Director for the British Council in Malaysia, and as a Market Development Manager at Cable & Wireless.

Joanna Thorpe obtained a Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching from Henley Business School in the year 2020. Prior to that, they pursued an MSc in Occupational Psychology from the University of Leicester from 2007 to 2008, specializing in Workforce Development and Marketing. Joanna also holds an MA in Marketing Management from the University of Westminster, completed in 1999, focusing on Business, Management, and Marketing. In addition, Joanna earned a BSc in Psychology and Sociology (joint honours) from the University of Bristol between 1989 and 1992.
