Louise Burgess

Louise Burgess is an experienced recruitment professional currently serving as the Head of People and Talent at Vaidio since July 2025. Prior to this, Louise held the position of Director of Talent Acquisition, Recruiting Operations, and Employer Branding at SoSafe from July 2023 to June 2025, where responsibilities included leading a talent organization and restructuring the Talent Acquisition function for international scalability. Louise also served as Head of Go-to-Market Recruiting at LaunchDarkly from March 2021 to July 2023, overseeing all hiring for revenue functions and significantly increasing hiring rates. Additional experience includes roles at Ultimaker, Optimizely, Oracle, Cloudreach, Hanson Regan, Rullion IT Plus, and Modis UK, with expertise in various aspects of recruitment across multiple regions. Louise holds a Bachelor's degree in Education from Dublin City University and completed secondary education at Loreto Kilkenny.
