Wes Straker

Wes Straker is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Development Manager at Sonnedix since February 2024, Straker previously held the position of Manager at Invenergy LLC from August 2022 to February 2024. Prior to that role, Straker pursued an MBA with concentrations in Cleantech and Management at the McCombs School of Business, The University of Texas at Austin, from July 2020 to August 2022. Additional experience includes roles as a Project Development Intern at EDP Renewables, a CleanTech Fellow at the Austin Technology Incubator, and various engineering positions at Raytheon Technologies. Straker holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Texas McCombs School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University, along with additional engineering studies at The University of Queensland.
