Giovanni Pinamonti

Giovanni Pinamonti is a Senior Data Scientist at sonnen GmbH since April 2021, previously serving as a Data Scientist. Giovanni's academic career includes a postdoctoral researcher role at Freie Universität Berlin from January 2017 to December 2020, focusing on multiscale modeling of biophysical systems and conducting coarse-grained simulations of proteins. Giovanni has also contributed as a visiting researcher at the Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics and SISSA, where research involved computational modeling of RNA kinetics and teaching data analysis for biophysicists. A PhD in Physics and Chemistry of Biological Systems was awarded by SISSA, following a Laurea Magistrale and Laurea triennale in Physics from Università degli Studi di Trieste. Additionally, undergraduate research experiences at Universidad de Granada and Fermilab included theoretical studies of stochastic resonance and contributions to high-energy physics experiments.
