Wayne Thomas D.HSc. has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Wayne has held various roles in the healthcare industry, specializing in orthopedics and sports medicine. Currently, Wayne works as a Practice Manager at Sono Bello, where they manage the day-to-day operations of a cosmetic surgery center, focusing on delivering exceptional patient experiences and driving overall performance.

Prior to their current position, Wayne worked at HCA Healthcare Physician Services Group as a Practice Manager III for OrthoONE at Presbyterian St. Luke. In this role, they provided senior-level business expertise and operational direction for OrthoOne Colorado Limb Consultants. Wayne also served as the Practice Manager II at North Suburban Bone and Joint.

Before joining HCA, Wayne worked at Advanced Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Specialists, PC, where they held multiple positions including Practice Manager and Manager of Back Office Operations/DME Director. In these roles, they were responsible for managing front and back office operations, supporting physicians and medical staff, and overseeing surgical scheduling and DME services.

Wayne also worked at Panorama Orthopedics & Spine Center as the Head Athletic Trainer for Green Mountain High School, providing evaluation, diagnosis, and rehabilitation services to student athletes.

Wayne's work history also includes positions at Jacksonville University as an Assistant Athletic Trainer and at Arvada West High School/Colorado 14'ers (Physiotherapy & Associates) as the Head Athletic Trainer. Wayne has additional experience in professional sports as a Seasonal Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Colorado Rapids (MLB) and the Colorado Crush (indoor football team).

Wayne Thomas pursued their education in a chronological order, starting with their Bachelor of Arts degree at Metropolitan State University of Denver from 2002 to 2007. During this time, they focused on Human Performance and Sport, with an emphasis in Athletic Training. Subsequently, they attended Fresno Pacific University, from 2009 to 2010, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Kinesiology, specializing in Athletic Training. Finally, Wayne completed their education at A.T. Still University of Health Sciences from 2011 to 2014, earning a Doctorate of Health Sciences (DHSc) in Leadership and Organizational Behavior.
