Nicole Bird

Nicole Bird is an experienced librarian with a comprehensive background in library services and management. Currently serving as a Branch Librarian at Sonoma County Library since March 2022, Bird previously held the same position at Mendocino County Library-Willits Branch from March 2017 to March 2022, overseeing operations and supervising staff. Prior roles include Director of Library Services at DeVry University, where Bird managed the Pomona Campus Library and led reference services from February 2009 to March 2016. Additional experience includes supervisory and reference roles at City of Commerce Public Library, Orange County Public Library, and Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library. Bird holds a Master of Library Science from Southern Connecticut State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Smith College.
