Melissa Kuhn

Melissa Kuhn is a skilled wine production professional with extensive experience in laboratory management and enology. Currently serving as a Quality and Laboratory Technician and Harvest Enologist at Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyards since August 2023, Melissa assists the winemaking team with harvest research trials on Chardonnay. Previous roles include Winemaker at Taft Street Winery, where responsibility encompassed managing all aspects of wine production for 10,000 cases, and Production Manager at Owl Ridge Wine Services, overseeing a large volume of grape processing and bottling. Additionally, Melissa has expertise in laboratory analyses, having held positions as Laboratory Manager and Laboratory Technician at Owl Ridge Wine Services and Rutz, respectively. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from St. Olaf College, completed in 1990.
