Jack Dimmock is an Environmental Scientist at Sonoma Technology, Inc. since October 2022, where responsibilities include reviewing literature and assisting in data analysis and writing for Caltrans reports on greenhouse gas emissions from roadside plastic. Prior to this role, Jack served as a Research Associate at Planet Reimagined from February 2022 to July 2023, focusing on designing maps for a policy report on co-locating wind and solar power on federal land and contributing to MTV’s 2022 Earth Day video. Jack also held the position of Teaching Aide at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, assisting with grading assignments related to debate planning and critical research skills. Additionally, Jack was a Research Fellow at Planet Reimagined, producing an interdisciplinary literature review on climate-just waste management. Jack earned a Master of Science in Environmental Sciences and Management from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Redlands.
