Paul and Robin Bemis

Paul and Robin Bemis have extensive experience in education and pastoral roles. Currently serving as a Substitute Teacher at the Sonoma County Office of Education since April 2024, Paul and Robin also hold the position of Assistant Pastor at Discovery Church since January 2019. Prior experience includes serving as a School Bus Driver for both Sonoma Valley Unified School District and Petaluma City Schools, as well as a long tenure as a Pastor at Open Door Christian Church from August 1981 to January 2015, focusing on uplifting individuals in their spiritual journeys. Paul and Robin's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication and Rhetoric from San Francisco State University, where they studied from 1979 to 1981.

The Sonoma Valley Unified School District serves over 4,600 students in grades K-12 and offers a selection of adult classes.
