Jens Salzgeber

Jens Salzgeber has extensive experience in the field of information technology and management. Jens served as the Engineering Programming Manager and IT Director at the Sonoma County Water Agency since 2019. Prior to that, they worked at the Sonoma County Information Systems Department from 2013, where they held roles such as IT Operations Manager and Lead Information Technology Analyst III. Before entering the civilian sector, Jens served in the United States Marine Corps as an Aviation Officer and Communications Officer. Jens also held the position of Information Systems Management Chief at the 3rd Recon Battalion from 1999 to 2004.

Jens Salzgeber pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with their enrollment at the Marine Corps Communications and Electronics School in 1999. During their time there, they obtained a Certificate in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services. Following this, they pursued higher education at the University of South Florida from 2004 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Russian Language and Literature.
