Adnan Doyuran

Adnan Doyuran is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in academic leadership. Currently serving as the Chief Academic Officer at Sonoran Schools since January 2022, Adnan previously held the position of Principal/Associate Superintendent at Sonoran Science Academy - Tucson from August 2013 to December 2021. With a proven track record, Adnan achieved the highest growth in state test scores among all middle schools during the tenure as Principal at Momentum Middle School (August 2006 - July 2008). Adnan's career also includes roles as Principal at Lotus School for Excellence and Dean of Academics at Magnolia Science Academy. Prior to entering educational leadership, Adnan worked as a Research Associate at UCLA Physics Department and as a Post Doctoral Research Associate at Brookhaven National Laboratory. Adnan holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from Stony Brook University, a Master’s degree in Education and Leadership from American College of Education, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Boğaziçi University.
